How the Commissioning Process Works
This diagram shows the step-by-step process of commissioning a portrait from me. The full process from first contact to receipt of the final piece usually takes around 1 month. As shown, payment is divided into 2 parts: the first half is paid before I start drawing, and the second half is paid when you are happy with the image.
You send me all the information about each character and we discuss the details.
Upon receipt of payment, I produce a draft of the portrait. This takes no more than 2 weeks.
I implement the alterations. This should take no more than a week.
When I have received the second payment, I will send the full resolution PDF and JPEG.
Payment (First Half)
Once we are agreed, I email you an invoice for half of the total cost, to be paid via Paypal.
At this point, you have a chance to look over the image, and request small alterations.
Payment (Second Half)
I send you a low resolution copy of the finished image, with an invoice for the second half of the payment.
If you have requested physical prints, I will have them produced and sent, which can take 2 weeks.
